- Every issue always starts with the main feature. I usually build it around a single record, opening the door to a new musical rabbit hole for you to explore.
- The featured album tells you about a new release or reissue that captured me particularly strongly that month.
- Reviews show what other new releases are worth your time.
- Hidden gems bring back forgotten records I've recently come across and think you'd like, too.
- Release radar reveals which upcoming albums I'm particularly looking forward to.

Hi, I'm Pawel. I'm a music writer from Ireland.
Well, that's the official title, anyway. However, I prefer to think of myself as a music explorer, someone constantly searching for their next favourite album.
And deep inside, I am still the same kid I was when I bought my first record.
I still feel exactly the same excitement every time I bring home a new album. I still read every word in the insert, study the artwork and, naturally, listen. Often over and over again, with that feeling of amazement I'm sure you know so well, too.
Eventually, I decided I wanted a place where I could simply write about music the way I've always experienced it.
This is that place.

The newly announced Keys to Ascension Studio Recordings by Yes got me thinking: did that reunion make any sense?
I bought Keys to Ascension for the live tracks. I heard Siberian Khatru from it somewhere, and I knew I had to have it.
It was THOSE five guys performing THESE songs live for the first time in years, after all. The sound was amazing, the performances ferocious. I played those live tracks over and over.
And yes, I knew there were some studio tracks there. I remember being amazed how long those pieces were. At that time, Yes didn't seem too keen on composing lengthy pieces anymore.
But I got Keys for the live tracks and to me, that's all that mattered.
